My friend Caroyln was kind enough to accompany me on a driving trip from Colorado to Alaska in April of 2005. It was a great trip. We saw every kind of animal there was to see along the way. The roads were dry and uncrowded. We did not get a lot of pictures while she was here or on the trip. Thanks to all the moose, bear, buffalo, and caribou (remember the herd walking down the highway?) for coming out and saying hello! On her visit in Alaska we took her on a boat trip out of Whittier to see graciers, on a trip to Homer, first stopping by my friend Mike's bed and breakfast, and then to Seward to see the Sea Life center and walk to Exit Glacier. Our final stop was the Chocolate Factory where we got some pictures with the bear. We enjoyed her visit and hope she comes back soon.
